Our approach to web design and application development
Our approach to web site and software development is very simple and flexible. We understand that your time is very important to you, so we make sure your time commitment to the project is kept to a minimum. We have adopted the Rapid Application Development, (RAD) is a methodology for compressing the analysis, design, build, and test phases into a series of short, iterative development cycles.
On our first meeting with you (no more than 2 hours), we will listen to your needs, challenges, short and long business objectives, we take notes and gather has much information as possible. If you have a requirements document, please send this to us before the initial meeting. After the first meeting, we will prepare a brief high-level document outlining our understanding of your requirements.
The second meeting (no more than 3 hours) is a consultation meeting. We exchange ideas, discuss requirements, define measurable project goals, clarify project vision and scope, identify project teams and negotiate deliverables and agree budget. These 2 meetings are important as these ensure that the right product is delivered, the proper foundations are laid and the development phase runs smoothly.
We will create a secure Project Extranet to allow you to track every aspect of the project (including downloading regular project status reports; produce all the necessary documents (a project plan and depending on the project, a functional specification document).
From here on – we design, build, test, and deploy ;) We are happy to work on-site if you need us to.
